This Ph.D. program allows the opportunity to hone your craft with clinical work, including direct hours with clients. It features a unique curriculum of psychotherapy integration and techniques, focused on the factors of change.

Candidates will gain hands-on experience providing clinical therapy, supervision and advocacy for underserved populations. Student scholarship is supported with opportunities to present your work at both state and national levels.

Adler University’s Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs (CACREP), which recognizes programs that meet or exceed the highest standards for counselor preparation.

The Counselor Education and Supervision Internship consists of advanced professional experiences that cover supervision, teaching, research and community service and advocacy.
